Theres been so many good things happening lately I don't know where to start.
I had a two week break from drinking.
It was probably a good thing, a challenge sometimes, but good.
I think I needed it.
Needed to at least proof to my self it could be done.
It made me feel like less of a dirt bag sort of.
Maybe not even a dirt bag at least I don't feel like a straight up alcoholic.
I spent the whole time indulging in other methods of escaping reality though.
Whatever, times are good.
I'm back on the sauce and loving every minute of it.
Craig and I started a band called San Francisco.
It's a ridiculous project basically raping Rock4$$s.
We want to go to San Francisco, bad.
Religious songs getting fucked up the ass and kids songs.
I've been trying to keep on the healthy eating track.
It was really hard to open my mouth wider than a finger for about a week.
Things are normal now though, although I think there might be a cavity on that tooth.
The world hates my mouth.
Theres been 2 kids staying at my house for the best week.
Ashley and James, frankly James has been doing his own thing, but Ashley hung out.
She's the best, I've had nothing but good times this whole week.
Drinking and hanging out and loving every minute of it.
It's been a crazy fun week.
The reason I decided to update was purely based on Friday.
One of the best days I've had in a long time.
It's true it doesn't take me much to have an amazing time but the smiles around the room definitely made me think that everyone was having a wicked time.
I kicked off the night with a wicked bbq at Derrick's house.
Good times, good people, good food, couldn't ask for anything more.
We left around 7 30 and headed to Chebucto, where things were just getting underway.
The show was such a success, there was tons of people and tons of great performers.
The acoustic acts blew me away, the attention span of some of the people there was questionable, but what else could you expect on a Friday night?
The show left me feeling calm and excited at the same time, which I think is a good combo for a Friday night acoustic house show.
After the shindig was over we moved the party to Dirt Mansion.
A 6 bedroom monster of a house, things were happening, people in every room on every floor.
The good vibes from the previous party definitely carried over for me.
At one point, there was a kitchen jam.
Now if you're still reading, really pay attention here.
It started with Beardo, walking into a room, clapping, stomping and yelling.
And it grew to monsterous proportions.
40 people in one kitchen, stomping, yelling, banging utensils and garbage cans, dancing, waving their hands, beating the walls and the ground.
It was amazing, it was so primal, ritualistic.
It lasted forever, and had no end in site.
45 minutes of the most personal experience, I yelled, danced and beat things until sweat was pouring down my face.
When it ended, everyone hugged and gave a round of applause to Beardo for getting this thing going.
I don't know what happened in that kitchen but it took me places.
However stupid and hippy it sounds.
And then I had a feast, provided by a lawyer.
What an amazing day.

One of my roommates just told me that if anyone should have kids, it should be me.
Thats a compliment.
One of the best I've had in a while.
Well, since the begining of the month.
Maybe I will have kids, maybe they'll be awesome.
Do you ever get that fear they might be serial killers?
