NBNE!
After that obnoxious emo post, I went to dinner with Julia.
Actually, I hung around the Vienna drunk screaming about Dirty Sanchezes.
But whos splitting hairs.
Mike D, Adrian and Mitch hung out with me before we all booked it to Reflections.
Scribbler's set was fun as usual, I love singing along.
Bearly's was a pile of crazy.
Muttonchops, Eben busted out muttonchops.
I couldn't keep my eyes off this facial hair wonder.
Good going sir.
Mike D, Jen, Merril, Adrian, NewWave, Mitch and I went to breakfast.
We ended up seeing some dude body slam a girl by her hair.
The Dome bouncers were not a fan of that AT ALL.
NewWave snored so loud I had to go sleep on agent orange in the kitchen.
I woke up at 9 in the morning in daze.
When I regained consciousness (is that even a word?) in my bed, it was late afternoon.
I went into the kitchen to find the brand new Coast, flipping the pages, and BAM.
Lindsay Allain in black and white giving the finger.
I was quite shocked, but the picture definitely grew on me.
Alex, Craig and I headed to Gus' for O,B!M!E! but they had to cancel.
Dobbin scratched her cornea at practice earlier in the day.
So instead we headed down to North End Pub.
I'd never heard the Stolen Minks, I really enjoyed it.
I met Hilary too which was a fun surprise.
On the way back home I noticed that Gus' was pretty bumping.
The Grass played until pass 2 and people were shaking their love thangs.
I was escorted home by a large group of males.
The feeling of security is awesome, if I go anywheres alone I usually end up clutching my keys.
At 5 in the morning I went out for a smoke.
I heard commotion and the sounds of a scuffle.
Apperently some guy put his hands on a girl and some boys were not happy with him.
They were approaching him and he was backing away.
When bam out of nowheres a carl hit in to him.
He flew 20 feet in the air and the sound of impact wasn't pretty.
All you could hear was moaning and then it stopped, girls were screaming for people to do CPR.
I went back into the house and by the time the ambulance got there the dude hadn't been breathin' for a while.
I wonder if hes alright, or if he died, or what happened.
Right.
Enough with that, I think I seem midly un-affected by that.
Its not fun to see bad things happen to people, but I've seen worst things happen to people I actually care about.
Maybe ice runs through my veins.
My dad woke me up at 10 30 yelling for my T4.
Therefor its completely his fault that I started drinking ridiculously early.
I called Adrian we went to Supestore to get food and booze.
THEN we went to Stapples and Kinko's.
On the way to Kinko's I found the Dal Gazette, they had a small feature on Le Coque et les Phoques.
By this time I was pretty drunk and decided to get both pictures (the Coast and the Gazette) blown up to tape on a bristle board.
Monsieu Daniel Gallant from CBC security, I swear if my T4 doesn't make it to my dad I'll kill you.
Band practice went well, we picked out a plan of attack, and a set list and Alfred surprised us with more props.
Bubble stuff, more puppets, stuffed animals and I ofcoruse had my blown up pictures.
I don't think I could ever be conceded because I'm not that confident.
But God damn it its fun to pretend.
The One World show was amazing.
I sort of realized towards the end that I was the only drunk idiot there, I might of gaver a little too hard on the dancing.
I mean for a well-lit, all-ages show at a cafe.
But its Divorce, those cats make me want to lose my fucking mind and go nuts.
The Switzer set was amazing, Derrick kept checking the time.
When the show ended I headed over to Gus'.
I threw up right before our set started.
Although I had been drinkin' I think it was nerves not the booze.
The set went awesome.
I like that it might not of been perfect but in my mind it went well.
The crowd was huge and really into it.
The place was packed by 11.
Our first real show played infront of a sold-out bar.
Bubble stuff and hand puppets were being passed around, people were yelling the words.
I loved it.
Ash F and Amy V did an awesome job recording the thing to.
The rest of the night I hopped around parties and ate food.
The next morning I went out to breakfast with Toby, Meghan and Derrick.
Then we had a listenning party where I got to finally see how the recordings turned out.
I love it and I love those two cats for doing such an awesome job.
YEAH.
Basically, I rule.
