ZOOOOOOOOOMBIE
Wednesday the 11th. - I dashed over to Leah's to try a pretty dress, which of course didn't fit. We decided to take a walk down to Frenchy's on Barrington. After what seeemed like a 2 hour walk we finally made it. Nothing for me dress wise, Leah picked up a few books on the other hand. I got home fairly late, around 7 30 ish, manage to inhale some eggs and went to meet Mike. Pre-drinking began, not a whole lot of people this week but a good time. New Wave guy was drunk and it was the last weekend for the girlfriend to be in town. I succesfully aquired both their emails. Cory and the rest of Mike's roommates came out too. Cory sang Ghostbuster and they decided to leave early to go to Bedford. Whew. Two Quebec guys bought me the weirdest shot ever, but yay for being able to use the french skills. It doesnt come up much in Halifax, unless Julia happens to be around. Anyways, after someone *cough* pussed out and left, the line up was unreal. Jared sang Please Don't Go Girl by New Kids On The Block.. There was some Hooked On A Feeling, Bust A Move, Living On A Prayer (Brian almost had a heartattack), Hit Me With Your Best Shot, Superstition, The Joker, Faith by George Micheals, Sweet Home Alabama, and Betty Davis Eyes.
Brian walked me home through the ghetto and I found 2 lawn chairs outside in the dumpster. Yup, one crazy Wednesday.
Thursday the 12th - Worked the Subway magic, I was a tab bit late, I swear that alarm clock has something against me. Then I came home to bed.
Friday the 13th - I woke up moderately early and went to meet Leah. I absolutely had to find something for this party. ZOMBIE/PROM baby! I met Leah by the commons and we started searching the second hand shops for the perfect dress. I found one, YAY, and we started the long walk home. Liquor was bought and all that good stuff. When we got to her house a little dress modifying was in order; make the straps smaller and more clevage. A few touches of cheesy flowers, up do hair and make up - voila all ready to get shit started. Some lovely girls from 'Nish gave me some speed. Oh you little drug angels you. I was all over that party, it was almost a bit much. I think I had atleast one random conversation with everybody there, I would just go right up and introduce myself. I hung out with Cory and Mike all night long. It was one hell of a good time. At 5 in the morning, realizing I was the only person still awake and alive, I headed home on foot. Nothing better than the cold chilly morning air to sober you up a bit. But not quite, stayed up until about 9 doing nothing but wishing the speed would go away.
