HOOLLLYY-DAAAAYYYYZZZ

Christmas Eve was spent at Denis' mothers.
She has the most precious dogs.
I sat on the floor hugging one of them for most of the night.
That family never seizes to amaze me.
I don't understand how Denis fits in there.
He is a pretty cool cat.
This year was actually not too bad.
Dinner was at a reasonable hour, present opening happened early too.
I ended up napping in a spare room for the last hour though.
I stayed up most of the night.
My brother, Denis and I went outside for a little Christmas pot.
At 3 I went to sleep, only to be awoken by the devil at 6.
Usually I set my alarm for 5 just to a pest when I was kid, so I can't blame her.
She opened presents forever and its a joy seeing her do it.
She got a lot of awesome things, and she deserves all of it.
My brother and I went to my aunt's for lunch.
This also the same lunch I got my beloved comment from my grandfather.
I hung out with Justin most of the afternoon.
For supper we went to Michelle's.
I basically got a little hammered and confessed all my sins to my family.
Whatever I shouldn't of brought up, I did.
Its almost good to get yelled at sometimes.
When I got home I ended up spending forever on the phone with Meghan.
We were both drunk and talking Christmas nonesense.
The next day Savannah and I were supposed to be heading to Moncton with her mother's car.
The weather didn't like this idea but sweet sweet Matt came to get us down in the sticks.
We went to Gumby's for some pre-drinking.
Gumby is hilarious, one of my favorite reasons to visit the city.
At 10 we hopped into a cab just in time for the Bad Motels.
Halifax was represented, the Bad Motels, the Hemmingways, me, Savannah, Emily, Brad, Tiffany, Jen, we were there.
The show was awesome, I had so much fun.
This dirty old crustpunk traded me a Descendants 'I don't wanna grow up' pin for a Lindsay pin.
I was so floored.
General good vibes for this day in Moncton
When the show finished we went to a boy named Harper's house for his birthday.
Before we got there the rest of the party left, but their booze stayed behind.
I broke 5 rules I set for myself that night.
Rules are meant to be broken, but its amazing what a little being out of town/booze will do to a person.
If you know me, you know the story.
I don't expect I repeat of that to happen, but gosh darnit it was fun.
We finally went to bed at 12 in the afternoon.
By 2 I was awake and realized I had to get out of that house.
Awkward goodbyes later, my dad came to get me and Savannah at a fire station.
We sat at Don Cherry's hating life.
Hang-overs are the worst.
We had to hang out at the mall on Boxing Day for HOURS.
I felt like a disgusting dirt ball the entire time.
When I got home, I told as many people as possible this story, including my mother.
I spent the rest of the night on the phone with Halifax, watching movies and making puzzles.
At 10 this morning I went to Janice's.
We spent the day tracking down the ladies from work.
I love all of those ladies like extra moms.
This is my first trip back that I got to see every one of them in one day.
We had lunch at the restaurant next door, it wouldn't be hanging out with Janice without lunch.
Crazy 8 count-down and the Beatles ended the night.
Aside from ofcourse the Acadian poutines that arrived.
This trip has definitely elevated No-Funswick, to Somewhat-Funswick
I've been all home all night making puzzle and eating as much free food as possible.
Halifax couldn't be further away right now.
I'd pay money to be wrapped in my bedspread talking to Ed.
