BBQ'ed fruit is amazing.
Kiwi, apple, peaches, mango, plums and pears are all things that should on the BBQ.
No lie, ask your friends.

To extend on my previous post..

Does anyone remember what I was like a year ago?
Something, something is different.
I'm more assertive, more abbrasive.
I obviously still can't spell worth a damn.
But... Before, I never wanted to fight with anyone, never wanted to really shock anyone.
Now I live for it, I live for shock value.
"did she just do that?"
"did she just say that?"
The answer is always yes, theres no one in specific I'm trying to impress.
Maybe I'm trying to impress myself, something, I need to think about this more.
Chris is playing the piano, it kind of put me in this thinking mood.
Re-evaluating mood.
I have a lot of people I call friends.
Sometimes I wonder what they find good about me.
Sometimes I wonder.
I'm not trying to impress anyone, or maybe I'm trying to impress everyone.

Snakes on a plane was really funny.
Am I a tough crowd?
I think the answer is yes.
But heres a question French boy, is that a good or a bad thing?

"I hear you know a lot of people, have any hot single friends?"
If I hear this sentence one more time I might explode.
You know what that implies?
I know what it implies.
It brings down my fun level by 2% everytime its uttered.
Find your own hot bitches.

BFFs

Sunday night was pretty fun; Scribbler played a show with Picnic Face.
The comedy was hilarious; I laughed quite a bit, they’re talented dudes.
Right before the show I went out for nachos with Meghan.
Afterwards we walked downtown while smoking a cigar, how tough.
That email I mentioned was sent last Monday, but no response yet.
Drunken emails are probably the worst idea; it’s a scary thought.
Maybe the encounter at Subway has something to do with it.
That was quite the moment, walk in, turn around, realize how stupid, and turn around again.
I’m an idiot.
Rocking for dollars was a crazy night on Monday.
I can’t believe no one won the money, tomorrow seeing how it’s Monday, 1000$ on the wheel and BBQ!
The summer of BBQs has not come to an end quite yet.
Tuesday night after work I headed down to Charlie’s with Frank.
We met up with Natalie, Meghan, Timmy, Jo-Jo and Leah.
Natalie is the craziest person, she went up and paid our 100$ tab and left.
We were all like… … the girl is nuts.
Wednesday was Natalie’s one year anniversary in town.
The BBQ at Shiggin’s house went to new heights.
There was too much food, so much food that we had to knock on neighbors doors to get rid of some of it.
It was definitely one of the more successful BBQs; the group of kids that gathered was awesome.
At the end of the night Leah and I got into a little fight.
It was ridiculous and I’m not really sure what to make of it.
I can’t tell if she’s still mad or not, I was trying to get as much Leah time as possible.
She’s leaving and I certainly hope she doesn’t leave angry at me.
She’s one of my favorite people in the city; I cried thinking that might be our last hang-out.
I’m definitely not good at smoothing over uncomfortable situations.
The show on Wednesday was lots of fun, Spincycle played a crazy set.
I went to play soccer after work on Friday, there was just a small group of us but it was still fun.
Christian and I had an encounter at the goal post that ended up with bruises and people on the floor.
Friday turned out not too shabby, a bunch of us kids hung out in Shiggin’s backyard.
I asked a few people to meet me at their house seeing as we were all going to the same shindig.
JCS’ party turned out great, Brian gave us a drive down there which was awesome.
They had blankets spread out on the floor outside, it was quite quaint.
I took the opportunity to harass everybody to come to the show on Saturday.
Christian, Derrick, Julia, Amy and I went to Freeman’s for some late night snack.
Christian bit into some pepperoni in a veggie slice, he got a free medium pizza.
Saturday was out of control, I had such a good time.
I got off work and headed down to the Rock Gardens for some jamming.
There was a disaster with the lyrics, but eventually things got figured out.
Brian drove us all down to the Attic around 11 40.
The opening band was still doing its thing, which... sucked.
Man, you can get rum and cokes with your beer tickets at the Attic.
It was amazing.
Attack Mode played an awesome set and then it was our turned.
I think our set went quite well, although I need to know how to tie up my run-on sentences.
Talking about how everybody loves vaginas, or has a vagina… and so on and so forth.
I stayed for a bit of the Hold’s set but the call to the lake was too great.
Brian drove me, Julia, Lisa, Jenny, Travis, Shiggins, and Natalie down to Chocolate Lake.
There is nothing more refreshing than late night swimming.
The next morning Shean woke up and I was sitting in the same seat in his backyard that I had been at goodbye time the night before.
The great goodbye bbq was to take place today and I told the dudes I’d be there by 1 oclock.
I did all their dishes and helped clean up the place.
Shean and I went to Pete’s Frootique, ended up getting about 60$ worth of food for this thing.
It was awesome, it started out a bit slow but more people kept coming and conversation got good once the booze hit.
The food never stopped coming, Derrick did an amazing job as head bbq’er.
As the night slowly came to an end the decision to walk to Chocolate Lake was made.
Godwin, Travis, Shiggins, Natalie, Jenny and I made the trek down there.
Again the water was amazing: swimming was so much fun, the walk back however not so much.
Monday, Rock for Dollars is okay.
We played the Doom metal song and I ended up losing my voice for 2 days.
Gunt took home the money and I didn’t get any of the grill cheeses.
Nicole and I came back to my home and sat on the front porch smoking something wild.
This douchebag with no points walked by and tried to have a political discussion with us.
I try to tell the story to people but I can’t do it justice, too much, tooooooo much.
I watched a cartoon called ‘The Point’ on Tuesday after work.
It was quite the show, very, ‘Hey Starla lets drop some acid and draw this wicked cartoon’.
Afterwards I walked home, stoned and scared, this is when Joi and Rob thought lets scare the crap out of Lindsay.
I almost had a heart attack since I got mugged I carry all my money and cards in my chest area.
You know so if it happens again I won’t lose anything of value.
Looking at apartments is the worst time, the first few are fun then it’s all down hill.
Julia and I looked at place after place for hours on Wednesday, it was the awful.
Afterwards we headed to Derrick’s place for some good time drinking.
The train to Bearly’s was small but still fun, I mostly talked to Will and Diana all night.
I hadn’t sat down with those kids in a long time.
Will gave me a drive home which was amazing, amazing I tell ya, amazing.
Oh it was Mimi’s birthday too, it would have been nice to see some more regular faces.
The Rocky Horror Picture show is my new favorite.
Its so ridiculous, and all the cult following is mesmerizing to me.
The rice, the toast, the yelling, and the dancing, I’m really glad we decided to go.
A little weird being that drunk though, my laugh was booming as usual.
When the movie ended we went to see my BFF at his stupid job.
He definitely has to quit that job.
Fucking people.

I swear I have the blog post of the year coming up.
Well not really.
But you know, in most current important news.
Mom went to the hospital for some kidney stones, but after some day sugery is doing alright.
I'm glad I'm not 7 like the first time she had kidney stones.
Staying at the grandparents was the scariest summer.
It included my grandmother cutting chickens heads off and my hair being in jeopardy.
SCARY.
